Samsung has rolled out the latest June 2025 security patch update for its Galaxy S25 lineup across Europe. The update is now available for the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra under the EUX region code.

What’s New in This Update

This is an incremental update, packs significant improvements under the hood. Samsung has upgraded the bootloader to version 4 (Credit: Tarun Vats, X/twitter), enhancing device security while preventing s from rolling back to older, potentially vulnerable firmware versions.

The update is around 571.79 MB in size and currently being rolled out in a phase wise manner in some regions like Europe.

  • Galaxy S25 Plus: S936BXXS4AYF1
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra: S938BXXS4AYF1

The update includes the June 1, 2025 security patch, addressing known vulnerabilities and strengthening overall system stability.

How to Install the Update

To install open Settings then tap Software update. Choose and install. A Wi-Fi connection is recommended to avoid extra charges. Make sure battery level is above 30 percent before you begin.
